The FWO-5805-VS is an outdoor-grade 802.11a standard Wireless Bridge with integrated Video Server. This device offers a flexible yet cost effective method for the implementation and control of video surveillance systems over a WLAN network.
The FWO-5805-VS is fully compliant to the IEEE 802.11a standard; it operates at 5.8GHz and provides a maximum 54Mbps bandwidth over a point-to-point WLAN link of up to 20 kilometres.
The integrated Video Server delivers DVD resolution MPEG-4 output, and has a rich feature suite including embedded digital timecode, simultaneous analog and digital outputs, live video variation setting (for brightness, contrast, hue and saturation), motion detection, and PTZ (pan, tilt zoom) control. The device is SNMP manageable.
This product supports the 802.3af PoE standard, enabling the unit to be powered via standard UTP cable from a PoE PD device.
The unit is housed in an IP-68 grade case and has a rated operating temperatire of -30°C to +70°C, allowing tthis product to be used externally (secured on antenna mastheads, for example) with confidence.
